The third Terrace is a relatively big place with 4 rooms available right now. they have 1 large bungalow with 2 bedrooms and plenty of living space for at least 15 people and a balcony. On another side, they have 1 cottage with 2 pretty large rooms. There is another space for dining which can give space to not more than 50 people. Out of this building, the whole place is beautifully green with trees and a lake. They have a boat if you want to try your hand with boating. the place is surrounded by high walls if you are worried about security, but then again does not give you any infinite view of typical rural Bangladesh. The food at the restaurant is expensive by all means, but you can not find the food choice offered here around the Gazipur area, which means going out to have lunch or dinner will be a bad decision unless you are ok with a typical roadside hotel and you don't mind driving. However, the food tastes really good, especially their bar-b-q arrangement is wonderful both taste & environment-wise. The staff is polite and helpful. room rate is value for money. The thing I love most about the place is their attention to details - wrought iron designs in the bungalow walls, lotus pond, animals made of clay here & there, flowers in front of rooms, a hammock, a swing or 2, a gazebo which looks like made of leaves, etc. At night you get complete silence as its far from the city.
